Preparing for the launch of Sensory Park this Friday evening.

This Friday evening at 7pm sees the opening of Tarbert’s re-imagined Sensory Park on the Glin Road. Work has been taking place this week to ensure that is ready. Niamh ni Dhuill, an environmentalist from Gortbrack Farm will be also speaking on the value of sensory planting. The project was a Kerry County Council intiative and an invitation has been extended to all of the municipal district council.....

What a load of rubbish!

This is the  36 bags of rubbish which were collected by the volunteers on the week beginning 3rd and culminating on Kerry County Clean Up Day, Sat 8th April. Tarbert Tidy Towns greatly  appreciate the contribution made by those who assisted in cleaning up all of the streets, housing estates, lane-ways and most of the roads of our parish. In the 6 years that we have been involved with the event we are glad to see that the amount of litter being collected is reducing year-on-year. The aim of .....
