Céad míle fáilte to our annual Cuckoo Walking Festival in Tarbert.

Feel the wind in your face and forget your cares as you ramble around the hidden gems of the Shannon Estuary. Our walks take you through natural woodland, bog land and farmland and along quiet country roads that offer spectacular scenic views.

Walks range from easy to moderate and vary in length. So whatever type of walker you are come walking in Tarbert where you are assured of a wonderful warm welcome and you’re sure to hear the elusive cuckoo!

All walks are guided. As our walks are mainly cross-country, walkers are advised to wear suitable clothing, boots and waterproofs. Walking times and distances are approximate. Those taking part in walks do so at their own risk.

All walkers must register in advance.
