U14 Tag Rugby

Well done to the U14 Tag Rugby team who played brilliantly in the County final at the weekend.  They were unlucky not to make the top two in their group.  They played in three very closely contested matches and should be very proud of their achievement.  The team members were; Ciara Haugh, Sasha Brent, Siun Walsh, Kate Stack, Shauna Mulvihill, Kayla Mulvihill, Aine Enright, Darragh Mulvihill, Cian Enright-Barry, Jamie O’Mahony, John Normile and Niall Haugh.  Thanks to Karen and A.....

Kathleen Kennelly (nee Anglim) R.I.P.

Parishioners were saddened to learn of the death of Kathleen Kennelly (nee Anglim) of Shanaway Tarbert and formerly of Tarmonshill Tarbert on Saturday February 16. Kathleen born into a farming and business family lived all her life in the parish and was a lovely lady. She moved across the fields to Shanaway after marrying Dermot Kennelly and spent the rest of her years helping to run the family farm and raise her children. She was predeceased by her husband Dermot by a number of years.....
