Aisling Walsh, recently crowned Sydney Rose and back in Ireland to take part in the International Rose Selection, will be in Tarbert at 6pm on Wednesday to take part in a parade. It will commence at the Church car park and progress to the square. Aisling’s dad is Eamon Walsh, formerly of Tarmons and now residing in Ballylongford. She still has numerous relations in Tarbert, including grandparents Bill & Josie in Tarmons.
We’d like everyone to throw their support behind Aisling and turn up for the parade at 6pm. Where possible, dress up the little ones as “Rosebuds”!
As the parade wraps up in the square at 6,.30, a vintage car run will escort Aisling from Tarbert to her native Ballylongford for more festivities.
Best of luck Aisling!!!
